With controlled gas explosions we remove hard slag layers from boiler and heat-exchanger surfaces – online during operation or offline.
In the Bang & Clean method a controlled gas mixture is ignited at the tip of a lance inserted into the boiler; the pressure wave detaches hard slag and ash layers from the surface. The method is a major advantage where mechanical access is difficult and where cleaning is needed during operation.
